Weekend of neighborhood fun and buckets

Tonight we went to a neighbors house who had some fun and entertainment for all of us in the cul-de-sac, and especially for those of us who have kids.

The kids had fun doing a scavenger hunt and also decorating some gingerbread men that they got as well. As with any holiday gathering, there was food and they enjoyed that a lot as well, especially Micah.

A prelude to tonight...I was sick Friday night and Saturday and actually ate some real food today, which is Monday. Sid got sick Saturday night and was doing really well on Sunday and today.

As we were at the party, I saw the color drain out of her face and we knew that it was time to go. I am glad that she is at an age where she is old enough to know when she really doesn't feel good and what she should do when she does feel like that. We got her in bed, with her bucket, and a few minutes later, she was sick. Poor little thing! I think she just did too much today and her body wasn't quite ready for it!

Day care is closed tomorrow...that would be horrible if we got other families sick from whatever we have...especially around Christmas!
