Dad will be having surgery today...just got the call from mom.
The doctor feels though that the bypass is not the best option for dad based on his neck that has been broken, possible chance of swelling in his brain during the surgery and the location of where the bypass would need to be done. They also feel that with the disease dad has that he has been fighting with the chemo, his recovery may not go as well if they do a bypass.
So, they are going to do a stent today instead and that will be done sometime this afternoon.
Josh is going to be at the hospital and will keep me updated with how things are going and I will update the blog as soon as I get information from him or mom.
