Saturday adventures

We are full of adventures today!

This morning we went to Quarry Hill to see some dinosaurs. As Quinn would say, "Roar!".
Micah's preschool class met there this morning, had a little snack and then went off to see the exhibit that is featured there right now. There was a digging table where the kids could be a paleontologist, lots of hands on activities and some pretty big skeletons that were featured there. We even got to feel different animal skins, look at microscopes and the two bigger kids got to feed the big fish. They had minnows in a net and they got to flip the net over and let the minnows swim until they got caught. The kids also looked at birds that were outside and saw quite a few today...woodpeckers, cardinals, bluejays and a few others too. The kids had a blast!

This afternoon we will be going to a spelling bee that Sidney will be part of. She was at a slumber party last night and stayed up until 1:30am and then woke up at 6:30am so she may not be quite alert today but I am sure she will try her best anyways!

Would you believe that I have NEVER been to Quarry Hill? Is that bad? :)
