Weekend fun

This past weekend we were busy yet also relaxed. We don't just sit down very often...at least I don't. On days where we have sunshine and great weather, I love to be outside.

On Friday and Saturday we worked hard on some new landscaping for our yard. This is a work in progress but we needed something and I am just itching to plant some more plants around our deck but was told we had to wait until we got the edge in. I have been waiting...we finally got our type of edge picked out and partially put in.

We had a bonfire over the weekend too and took some pictures of the kids. Chris let off some fireworks...yes, Sheriff neighbor, that was us. We just had a great weekend together as a family.

Saturday night we also went to the fireworks here in Rochester! We love going to these and sitting down by Silver Lake. The kids had their snacks, their glow bracelets and necklaces, their blankets and they were set. Quinn wasn't quite sure what to think at first of the loud sounds. As soon as I held him, he was pretty much ok. Sid did really well but towards the end was getting tired and wanted to just close her eyes. Micah wound up on Chris' lap because he was getting sleepy too.
