Our Adventure Today

I haven't been very good at getting on this blog lately. My cold was pretty bad for awhile and the last few weeks I have been working on getting some things done for a fundraiser that we have for Teen MOPS on April 4th. We are having a 2nd Annual Spaghetti Supper and Silent Auction and there are lots of planning to be done. We got Olive Garden to help us with the food and are working on getting our Silent Auction prizes. We spent last night putting our letters together for our big mailing that is going out. We have a few prizes already that are taking over our dining room. One of those prizes is a signed copy of a CD and poster by Casting Crowns. They are such a good bad and they responded to us really fast! Thank you Casting Crowns!

Today we are going to the dentist! The boys and I are going to be picking Sid up from school. The dentist appointment starts at 1:00 pm and yesterday, she didn't even get home until after 1:00. He bus broke down so they had to wait for a new bus to come get them. It has been really cold here so I'm not sure if that was the problem with the bus not working or if it was something else. The one day that school was cancelled because of weather was because the buses wouldn't start. That was a really cold day, -40 something degrees with the windchill.

Micah has mixed emotions about the dentist right now. We are going to keep talking about it this morning and see how things go :) It should be fun! I am going to need a break after this adventure :)

Quinn has been talking up a storm! He has been laying on the floor playing this morning and he found his feet, his hands and has been making all sorts of sounds like he is talking. He has been doing this for at least 10 minutes so far. It is pretty funny to listen to.

Sidney is now doing spelling tests at school. We have been working on her words and she usually has 12 words each time and then there are some bonus words that she can work on too. She had a spelling test on Wednesday and got all of the words right! Way to go Sidney!!!

I am off to find our books about going to the dentist and see what bribes I can come up with to make sure that we are successful with this adventure today.
