Welcome 2008!

I am excited for 2008! I am envisioning some changes in our family that will add more for our to-do list but also bring our family closer and encourage the kids to be open with us even in their future years.

I have thought today about what I have enjoyed this year and these are a few of the things I have come up with...
...eating as a family almost every single night, having the kids be excited about going to church, having a daughter who enjoys school and finds it fun (she never wants to stop learning), having a son with the most enthusiasm I have ever seen in a child (if he is happy about something, you will hear about it), having a baby in the house, running my own business and being able to be home at the same time with the kids, Teen MOPS, our chuch, epidurals :), Target, our home, Chris, our neighborhood, internet, wireless, Tivo, cell phones, laptops, freedom and forgiveness.

What do I want to accomplish this year?
I have some things on my list that I'm not putting on here but the ones I want to put are...
...painting our master bedroom, new deck, lots in store for Teen MOPS, get Micah potty trained, make the kids laugh each and every day, have a greater relationship with God, remember to listen to others.

I want to also record some statistical info on the kids so I remember how little (or big) they are each year...
Sidney, 6 years old, she is 46 1/2 inches. She wears a size 6x in pants and mostly 7/8 in shirts and a size 1 in shoes. Her favorite thing right now? Shopping with me, writing letters to people, making charts of what we do each day or calendars, princesses, babies, coloring those velvet pictures and reading.
Micah, 2 years old, he is 38 1/2 inches tall. He wears a size 4 in clothes and 8 in shoes. His favorite thing right now? Spiderman, Lightning McQueen (Cars), Geotrack trains and video but not the ghost one, playing outside and doing snow angels in the snow without even thinking about it, pop gun, riding bikes, playing with babies at church (really just the kids in his class but he calls them babies), and being a big boy...he isn't a baby anymore he says right now.
Quinn, 2 months old, he is 23 1/4 inches long. He wears a size 3 to 6 month in clothes and some 6 to 9 months already. He was 12.1 pounds about 2 weeks ago but I think he has filled out even more this week because his cheeks look bigger to me. He isn't wearing shoes yet :) His favorite thing right now? Probably me. He is actually a great baby and only cries when he is hungry or tired. He is starting to smile and loves to look at people and is even starting to coo for quite awhile. I even heard him giggle today. One thing he hates is baths. He screams horribly when he gets in the water and won't stop until he has his diaper back on. He had his first bottle last week and actually liked it. Quinn sleeps really well when he is all bundled up, especially in something that is Fleece.

Happy New Year everyone!
